Samsung Tab that does not turn ON

Recently I bought this Korean assembled Samsung Galaxy Tab Note 8.  Therefore its not ORIGINAL and I have to bear with the quality of the product.  I bought it since the network signal of Smart is stronger than my original Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (free from my Smart Unlimited Data Postpaid Account).  The Korean made tab has a wide screen and is best for my lectures in powerpoint presentation where I can review and study anywhere I go and so with other documents.

Just today, I got mad of it since it did not turn ON and for the past days it has been experiencing automatic turn off without turning on afterwards.  After searching the internet for possible troubleshooting, I came across with a forum that discussed solutions to my problem and they said:

1. Press and hold the power button 10 seconds.
2. Press and hold both power and volume down buttons for 10 seconds, then release vol. down button while holding down power button for another 10 seconds, before releasing.
3. Plug to PC and wait to be recognized.
4. Take out the battery so that Samsung can fully discharge so this should help reset replug the battery.

It worked for my unit and hope this will help you too./
